SOUK, feasting on the mezze table
The cookbook SOUK, i wrote with co-author Nadia Zerouali, is a reflection of our view on mezze traditions.
It’s not necessarily a collection of 100% traditional mezze recipes, but moreover our view on this wonderful tradition of feasting on the Middle Eastern table. But of course you will find hard to miss items like tabouleh or fattoush and equally our wild fattoush with white cheese, pickled veggies and homemade bread. Or labneh our style, dressed with pomegranate molasses, pistachio, aniseed, dill or oregano. Kibbeh variations, muhammara, stuffed vine leaves, all rooted in tradition but served with our delicious. twist.
