Café Mazahar spring lunch

Café Mazahar pop-up in SPRING MOOD!

19/20th of may 2023 I will cook a vegetarian spring lunch menu in my Café Mazahar cookbook style at my friend Esther’s Cookery. And that will be colourful… modern… and inspired by the Med.

                                 Menu

Goat labneh with spring herbs tomato dressing and sunflower seed crunch, served with crispy bread

Semolina pizette with rose za’atar butter.

Dried broad bean puree with a soft-boiled egg with toasted cumin parsley oil and garlicky pangrattato

Romaine  radicchio salad with dill mint and a  pekmez dressing with grapes and nutty seed crunch

Smokey freekeh with golden onions, raisins, crispy almonds on orangy yogurt

Roasted almond mhallabiyyeh with mastic and fresh apricot cherry jam and orangeblossom creme

Arabic coffee, herbal tea & ka’ak
