½ head of red cabbage

1 bunch of radishes

1 red onion

2 tsp of finely sliced parsley

1 tsp of aniseeds, lightly roasted

pomegranate molasses

olive oil

Slice the red cabbage and radishes finely on a mandolin. Don’t cut your hands too;-) Slice finely the onion with a sharp knife. Massage with some salt. Mix the cabbage, sliced radishes, onion, parsley and aniseeds and sprinkle generously with pomegranate molasses and olive oil.  Great as a powerful side dish to any Middle Eastern meal and loaded with good stuff and vitamins.
